"Live with Dan Abrams" Update
DP is talking again, (I know, what a shocker!) this time he's slamming his third wife's family. The only suspect in his wife's disappearance continues to make ridiculous comments and now he has hired private investigators to learn where his wife might be.
DA: Average annual salary of a PI is $35,000. DP is spending his money hiring investigators to help find his wife. As divers continue to search for SP, DP is out getting himself in more trouble. (Showing DP saying he's known throughout the world as a bad man thanks to the media. Called the Savios money-grubbing.)
Joe Tacopina: DP reached out to me. I don't want to be involved because if you can't control your client, he's not doing himself any favors by making these impromptu remarks.
DA: I told him that--that he's not doing himself any good by bashing his dead wife and his missing wife. It seems like the hiring of this PI is code for finding dirt on witnesses.
PI: If I was hired for this case, that's exactly what I would be doing. It seems that they are preparing a defense for a murder trial.
JB: Confirming the bank records and the cell phone records but asking for a special prosecutor.
Susan Filan: JB is making this like the Duke LaCrosse Team case. Putting DP out there as the "wronged man." But DP has brought this on himself by putting himself right in the middle of this hailstorm.
PI: I would assume that LE already has the records on cell phones, credit cards, etc. But it's pretty much a cold case at this time. At this time all you can to follow up on where she liked to go, where she liked to vacation, etc.
DA: It sounds like they are just digging up dirt and that's all.
JT: Quite frankly, that is their job.
