Age: 2-1/2, Caylee Anthony was reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony on July 15, 2008. At that time Caylee's mother, Casey, said on the July 15, 2008 911 call that her daughter had been missing for "31 days." Date of disappearance is unknown but the math adds up to last seen as of June 15, 2008. Caylee's body was found in a trash bag on December 11, 2008 along Suburban Drive, Orlando, Florida

In the Meeting Sgt. Allen informed Dr. Lee, Mr. Baez and Mr. Phlegar that according to the court order they were allowed to do a visual examination of the evidence, but they were not allowed to collect any evidence or perform any test on the evidence. Dr. Lee, Mr. Baez and Mr. Phlegar agreed. Defense Attorney Jose Baez asked if it was possible to examine the garbage collected in this case. Sgt. Allen agreed that Dr. Lee inspect the garbage. At approximately 1040 hours we proceeded to go to the Forensic Lab where Dr. Henry Lee inspected the following piece of evidence.

-Sealed box containing left/right trunk liner and the spare tire cover. (Art #24, 25, 26, Item #H-52025)

At approximately 1048 hours I transferred the above evidence to Dr. Lee and he began inspecting the evidence. This investigator and ASL Vincent were with Dr. Lee during the time the inspection was being conducted.

At approximately 1130 hours I proceeded to go to the Evidence Unit. Upon my arrival at the Evidence Unit I spoke with Evidence Intake Mr. Terry Gorman and informed him that we needed art #1 Item #H-51976. At 1207 hours I received the evidence from Mr. Gorman via property form.

I transported the evidence to out Forensics Office where I placed Art #1, Item #H-51976 in the Forensic Lab for further inspection by Dr. Henry Lee.

At approximately 1248 hours Dr. Henry Lee, Mr. Baez and Mr. Phlegar left the Forensics Lab for lunch.

Dr. Henry C. Lee second evidence inspection:

At approximately 1415 hours arrived at the Forensic Lab Dr. Henry Lee, Defense Attorney Jose Baez, and Mr. Phlegar from Baez Law firm. In the Forensic Lab at approximately 1419 hours I transferred to Dr. Lee the following evidence.

From the box Dr. Lee retrieved the following Items:

Dr. Henry C. Lee third evidence inspection:

Once Dr. Henry Lee finished with the inspection of the garbage he proceeded to go to our Forensic garage in order to inspect the vehicle bearing FL tag #G63 XV. At approximately 1540 hours, Dr. Henry Lee signed the crime scene contamination sheet. During the inspection Dr. Henry Lee photographed the exterior/interior of the vehicle and took notes. Dr. Lee observed inside the trunk what appeared to be a human hair. I proceeded to collect the following piece of evidence:

At approximately 1610 hours Dr. Henry Lee, Defense Attorney Jose Baez and Investigative Analyst Edward Phlegar left the Forensics Office.

Gasoline Gauge Test

In the Forensic garage at approximately 1400 hours I proceeded to check the function of the gasoline gauge.

Test #1: Without the key in the ignition the gasoline meter was on top of the E. See photo below.

I proceeded to put 5 gallons of gasoline and the third test was performed.

Test #3: With the ignition on the gasoline meter goes 3/8/ See photo below.

Skull found at Suburban Drive Case #08-122093

Thursday, December 11, 2008

At approximately 0938 hours I received a call from Detective Yuri Melich who informed me that at Suburban Drive was found a possible human skull. I proceeded to go to Suburban Drive and upon my arrival at the scene I met Sgt. Michael Deeb (EID 1364) and I informed him that I was going to check the skull remains per the request of Detective Melich. This investigator and Sgt. Deeb proceeded to go to the wooded area. In the crime scene the following observations were made:

1. I observed what appeared to be a small human skull lying on the ground.
2. I observed what appeared to be duct tape on the mouth area of the skull.
3. I observed that the skull had some hairs.
4. I observed a black plastic bag in front of the skull.

After viewing the scene, I proceeded to call Detective Yuri Melich and informed him about my findings. Then I proceeded to call Supervisor Ronald Murdock and informed him about the situation. Minutes later, Detectives Melich, Edwards and Sergeant Allen arrived at the scene. I showed them where the skull was located. I left the scene about 1030 hours. Please refer to reports under case #08-122093.

Tuesday December 16, 2008

At approximately 1511 hours I arrived at the Evidence Station and had a meeting with Detectives Melich and Edwards regarding the inspection of the following piece of evidence:

Art #1, Item #H-51975 (Sealed box)

From the evidence mentioned above I collected the following items:

- Black plastic bag with yellow pull handles.
- Pull-ups "With flower design" collected from back pack "Adorable".
- Stainless steel knife.

The box was sealed and returned to Evidence Intake, Mr. Terry Gorman. I returned to the Forensics Unit and I secured the evidence mentioned above in my evidence locker.

At 1730 hours in the Forensics Unit I had a meeting with Karen Cowan from the FBI and I informed her about the evidence mentioned above. After reviewing the evidence she agreed to collect the evidence at a later time for further examination.

At approximately 0800 hours I arrived at the Evidence Section and I spoke with Evidence Intake, Mr. Terry Gorman, and I informed him that we needed the art #1 Item #H-51976. At 0834 hours I received the evidence from Mr. Gorman via property form. At approximately 0900 hours I secured the evidence in the the evidence room.

I proceeded to open the box (Art #1, Item #H-51976) and at approximately 1444 hours I transferred the above evidence to Dr. Haskell and he began inspecting the evidence. From the box Dr. Haskell inspected the following articles:

20. Empty Cartoon of "Velveeta: 10.3oz with napkin attach on it with exp day 11/Feb/09.
21. Empty carton of "Velveeta" 12oz proof of purchase num # 2100065893.
22. Empty carton of "Velveeta" 9.4oz proof of purchase num # 210065643.
29. Piece of paper wrapper "Italian bread" "Roma" with a napkin attach to it.

Then Dr. Haskell proceeded to inspect Art #24, 25, 26, Item #H-52025.

This investigator and ASL Vincent were with Dr. Haskell during the time the inspection was being conducted.

At approximately 1500/1503 hours I received from Dr. Haskell via property form the articles mentioned above.

Once Dr. Haskell finished with the inspection of the garbage and the right/left liner and spare tire cover he proceeded to go to our Forensics garage in order to inspect the vehicle. At approximately 1505 hours, Dr. Haskell signed the crime scene contamination sheet. At approximately 1538 hours Dr. Haskell left the Forensics Lab.

FC # 1, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22 were submitted to the Image Lab for processing. The remaining evidence was submitted to the Evidence Section for storage. Upon completion of my investigation no further requests were made of this investigator.
