Timeline of Information Gleened from News Media Regarding Paige Birgfeld Case
1973-04-00 00:00

Paige Birgfeld born
in Atlanta Georgia
-------- "Paige Birgfeld was born in April 1973 in Atlanta, where her father worked for the National Association of Securities Dealers. Craig remembered how many friends his sister had - even at a young age. When Frank Birgfeld told the family he was taking a job in Denver in 1981, his son fretted about the move and realized he'd miss his friends. But Paige didn't seem worried." http://www.rockymountainnews.com
1981-00-00 00:00

Frank Birgfeld
family moved to
Littleton Colorado
-------- "Her mother remembered the one thing she really looked forward to in Denver was having a new identity. In Atlanta, the kids teased her about her name. Suzanne Birgfeld said whenever the teacher told the class to turn the page, the kids would snicker and make fun of her. When they moved to Littleton, she told her mother she wanted to go by her middle name, Meredith, to avoid that problem. But the teacher called her Paige anyway." http://www.rockymountainnews.com

Paige took dance lessons in Littleton
-------- "Paige gravitated toward dance. She began taking ballet in the third grade at a small studio in Littleton and continued to take lessons and perform in recitals through high school there. At one point, she thought of taking over the business from the owner so she could give lessons and teach." http://www.rockymountainnews.com

Ron Biegler was a lead guitarist in a
rock band. When
they met he was
19, Paige was 16
-------- "Biegler was an odd match for Paige Birgfeld. With long, blond hair, tattoos and being the lead guitarist in a rock band, the Birgfelds weren't sure what to make of her boyfriend. Even Biegler acknowledged the mismatch. "I married over my head," he said.

They had met without really knowing it years before their eventual marriage. But it was when Biegler saw her in a parking lot and offered to jump-start her car that he decided he wanted to go out with her. He was 19 and she was 16. Within days, they went out to dinner and a movie. After the date, Biegler was too shy to make the first move. So Birgfeld leaned in to kiss him, and Biegler moved away. "She took it as a rejection," Biegler said. "That wasn't the case at all. I was just nervous. "

------ "Her father, Frank Birgfeld [from Centennial], a former vice president and director of the National Association of Securities Dealers, said she [Paige] was average- looking in high school [Littleton's Heritage High School] and not one of the popular girls. She was never a cheerleader or involved in athletics, but she was scrappy. The slight Birgfeld was suspended for a day for breaking the nose of much larger girl she caught stealing from her locker. His daughter attended a year of college at a Florida nursing school before she dropped out to marry Biegler. The marriage lasted two years. Birgfeld told friends she left because Biegler didn't want to have children." http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_6383828

Ron Biegler moved
to Gainesville Florida to be with Paige while she attended the University of Florida

Paige wanted to be a stripper in Florida
-------- "But while at Heritage High School, her brother began researching colleges out of state. Craig had decided he wanted to be a doctor, and soon Paige was looking at out-of-state schools to study nursing. "I always liked the science of medicine," said Craig, who is a plastic surgeon. "With her, that wasn't it. She liked the helping-people aspect of it." He ended up at the College of William and Mary in Virginia.

With her grandmother living in Florida, Paige figured the University of Florida would be a good place to go. She was 18. It was a big moment for her. She was already dating Ron Biegler in Colorado, and he decided to move to Gainesville, Fla., to be near her. They lived across the street from the University of Florida football stadium, and Biegler said after several months there, Paige considered herself married to him.

There was only one problem. "She wanted to be a stripper in Florida and I just didn't want her to do it," Biegler said. "And she never did while we lived there."

Ron Biegler and Paige Birgfeld moved back to Aurora, Colorado and got married
-------- "After they moved back to Colorado, they got married in 1995 and lived in a small house in Aurora. Paige worked hard at decorating the house. She really loved the home, even if it was small. Biegler had his instruments in the basement and continued to work on his music while doing odd jobs." http://www.rockymountainnews.com

Paige's 2007 postings
www.chefsuccess.com
Regarding Marriage To Howard "Ron" Beigler
------ "In her postings, Birgfeld also noted that she had rekindled a romance with her first husband [Howard "Ron" Beigler], whom she married soon after meeting him at age 15. They remained married until about eight years ago, she wrote. She left her first marriage because her husband didn’t want children and she did, Birgfeld noted. “So, now I have the babies, don’t need that one fixed anymore,” she wrote.” http://www.gjsentinel.com/
1995-00-00 00:00

Paige was stripping at the Mile High Saloon strip club under stage name of Madison
-------- "And then the issue of stripping came up again again. Biegler was still opposed but didn't want to tell her what to do. So a few nights a week, she'd go to the now-defunct Mile High Saloon strip club and dance under the stage name Madison. For about three years, she did it. Biegler didn't see her perform very often and said she didn't like him going there. But she had her reasons for stripping. "She wanted to pay for her breast augmentation," Biegler said. "I also don't think she felt very pretty or attractive, and I think stripping made her feel better about herself and made her feel more powerful." http://www.rockymountainnews.com

Sunday "Police responded to reported incidents of domestic violence during both marriages. In the first marriage to Beigler [Howard "Ron" Beigler], he was cited for harassment and domestic violence stemming from a 1997 altercation. It was the only record of criminal activity involving Beigler, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation” http://abcnews.go.com/

"Records from the Northglenn Police Department show officers cited Beigler on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence the afternoon of Aug. 10, 1997. The incident, which took place shortly after the two separated, according to her Web postings and police files, landed then-27-yr-old Beigler in the Adams County Jail in Brighton for the night." http://www.gjsentinel.com/news/content/news/stories/2007/07/04/7_4_1a_Birgfeld_folo.html

Paige met Rob Dixon at the Mile High Saloon strip club
-------- "When they divorced in 1997, it wasn't because of the stripping. She said she was ready to have kids. He wasn't. She was 24. A year later, she met Rob Dixon at the Mile High Saloon." http://www.rockymountainnews.com

First Marriage Ended
Howard "Ron" Beigler

From GRETA VAN SUSTEREN 'On the Record' 07/19/2007
------ GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: When did husband number one [Beigler] and Paige break up? Or the marriage dissolve.

JOHN ROMERO, KDVR-TV DENVER: In 1998, he told me. They were married in '95, and then it broke up in 1998. It had been reported in The Post that there were some issues over whether (ph) or not the children, and Ron also told me that he was becoming more and more uncomfortable with her activities as a stripper and that he was also aware that she had met the man [Rob Dixon] that would become husband number two. So he was aware of that kind of burgeoning relationship."

JOHN ROMERO, KDVR-TV DENVER: "No, I got the strong sense from Ron that he had made his peace with what she was doing, that the breakup of their first marriage in part, he said, was because of her work as a stripper at a now defunct strip club in Denver. And I think whatever issues he had with that, he had kind of since gotten over and was ready to kind of reconcile with her. He told me in very clear terms that he felt they were together in the sense that they had rekindled the relationship, they were in an established relationship, at the time of her disappearance."

Dixon lavished Paige with gifts - jewelry, cars, money and she married him for security and children
-------- "Dixon lavished Paige with gifts - jewelry, cars and plenty of money. Dixon was wealthy and said he wanted to have children. Her friend, Laura Ayers, said Paige saw Dixon as an opportunity for a stable life with kids. With his money came security. She confessed to Ayers later that was why she married him, love had nothing to do with it.

"Paige was one of those people who went out and got what she wanted," Ayers said. "She was very determined and very resourceful." Dixon and Paige were married in Las Vegas. No family from either side attended. "Because of that, I still have trouble remembering their anniversary," Suzanne Birgfeld said."

Paige joined the Grand Junction MOMS Club
------ "Paige Birgfeld in 2003 became the second member of the Grand Junction chapter of MOMS Club International — one of several activities or entrepreneurial endeavors that took up her time, friends say. "Never a dull moment and she did what she had to do to keep the house,” said Jamie Silvernail of Pear Park."

Rob Dixon is a controversial figure
in Grand Junction
------ "Rob Dixon is a controversial figure in Grand Junction for other reasons. He was once on the board of the Grand Junction Rural Fire Protection District. In that role, he recommended investing fire district funds in a New York Internet company in which he had once owned stock, the Sentinel reported. Once the investments, which totaled $3.24 million, became public knowledge in 2004, the fire district attempted to get its money back. It has since received all but about $1 million, the Sentinel reported. Dixon was not named in any of the lawsuits filed in connection with the case because he had filed for bankruptcy, it said.” http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_5614726,00.html
2005-00-00 00:00

------ "In 2005, [Rob] Dixon accused his wife of giving topless massages and allegedly punched her in the throat, the Grand Junction Sentinel reported. He later pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge, and the case was dismissed after he met the terms of a deferred sentence, according to court records.” http://abcnews.go.com/

"An arrest affidavit relates that Dixon was arrested on domestic- violence charges after he slapped and shoved Birgfeld in 2005. The impetus for the altercation was finding underwear in her car that he told the court led him to believe she was performing topless massages "at the least." http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_6383828
2005-10-00 00:00

------ "The records show Birgfeld acquired the home in a quitclaim deed from her then-husband, [Rob] Dixon. He claimed bankruptcy in October 2005 after being enmeshed in a series of financial scandals. The home off 25 Road is valued at $909,330, according to the Mesa County Assessor’s Web site.” http://www.gjsentinel.com/

"Paige Birgfeld used the Ford Focus that was found burned out only occasionally, her father said. She generally drove her children around in a van. She picked up the payments on the car after Rob Dixon was prepared to give it up after his bankruptcy, Frank Birgfeld said" http://www.gjsentinel.com/

Investment Properties
------ "Since her divorce last year, Birgfeld made and sold baby slings, so successfully hawked kitchenware that she won two all-expense-paid vacations for herself and her children, worked as a mystery shopper reporting on service at various businesses, gave dance lessons to children and bought several properties in the Denver area as investments. Her favorite activity was anything she did with her kids. She told friends she had no need to join a gym because she got all the workout she needed swimming and jumping on the trampoline with her kids, now in Arizona with Dixon's parents." 07/16/2007 http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_6383828

[Paige rented office at 2754 Compass Drive for her 'Grand River Acupuncture' business]
-------- "A Grand Valley woman who has been missing for more than a week had maintained a business she called Grand River Acupuncture, but Paige Birgfeld had no license to perform acupuncture in Colorado." - "They are saying little about the progress of their week-old investigation, but investigators with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department had visited the small office Birgfeld paid $130 a month to rent in an office building at 2754 Compass Drive.

Birgfeld rented the unit in March 2006 and said she would use it only late in the afternoons or evenings, an owner’s representative said. The third-floor office is near the end of the building and not far from a stairwell leading to an exterior door. Inside were a massage table, a wicker bureau and chair, as well as containers for soiled towels and linens, and what appeared to be a pincushion holding acupuncture needles, the representative said."

Friend Jamie Silvernail lived with Paige
-------- "Jamie Silvernail, a 28-year-old mom, met Paige four years ago but really got to know her in late 2006, when they lived together in the big house. Silvernail said she would see how busy Paige was -- sometimes doing housecleaning in the middle of the night just to keep up. She also noticed Paige leaving the house late at night after the kids were in bed. Those were the escort calls. "I didn't ask about it, but you kind of knew," Silvernail said. "She was someone who just did what they had to do to survive. She was intent on keeping the house and family together and would do whatever it takes.

Silvernail also said Paige seemed to extend herself for everyone. She took on a leadership role in the Grand River Playgroup and was one of the most willing donors of time to the Grand Junction MOMS club. In addition, Paige was juggling Pampered Chef parties, teaching kids dance through a business she ran called Brain Dance and doing small jobs such as selling baby slings.

Motherhood seemed to be her primary focus. Throughout her house, the only magazines are about mother-child-related issues. Her bedroom, where the three kids slept with her - the 8-year-old in a small bed nearby - is littered with children's toys, including a small Elmo chair."

"My fantasy: Carrie has a pretty face-not sure why she used a pic that does not look like her. The body pic is accurate, though. She gave me a fairly good full-body massage, but it was made clear early on that any "extras" would cost me. And every detail was an extra. We had a pretty nice time with a satisfying conclusion (an extra) but I left feeling like I had had my pocket picked. I would have to be ready to set limits if I was to visit her again, and that's probably not a good start."

My kids' dad is moving to our state
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My kids and I have been so happy and free and safe since their dad moved 2000 miles away! As always, he couldn't hold on to his job, and has found a new one in Durango, which is about 3 hours away in the summertime. I'm thinking this is a bit close for my comfort- he could theoretically hang up the phone and be waiting at my house before the kids and I return from errands!

I have full custody, but I've always let him see the kids whenever he wants (about 3 times in the last 2 years), but I ....[Only Members can read rest of posting]"

Last time tenants seen Paige at her Grand River Acupuncture business
Tuesday NEWS: "Paige Birgfeld has no license to perform acupuncture in the state of Colorado, and yet, she had a business she called the Grand River Acupuncture...but tenants in the office building she based her 'business' out of witnessed many peculiar things. They knew something wasn't right. Tenants claim to have seen Paige enter her office in the late afternoons and evenings dressed in revealing outfits with high heels - and she would enter with "scroungy-looking" men. Her office was softly lit and decorated with drapery, where she had comfortable chairs and a massage table...not exactly the look and feel of the other offices in the building. The last time tenants saw Paige was two days before she went missing." http://www.postchronicle.com/news/original/article_21293250.shtml

Tuesday GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: "Andrea, when was the last time you spoke to your friend or saw her or both?"

ANDREA LAND, FRIEND OF PAIGE BIRGFELD: "I talked to Paige on the day that she disappeared at about 12:40 in the afternoon. She called me to invite me to a Pampered Chef meeting that was going to be happening. And then the last time I actually saw her was two days prior to her disappearance. Several of the moms in our club were at a good-bye dinner for a couple of other members, and she attended that."

Paige's friend
Andrea Land talked
to her at 12:40pm

From GRETA VAN SUSTEREN 'On the Record' 07/19/2007
Thursday GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: "Andrea, when was the last time you spoke to your friend or saw her or both?"

ANDREA LAND, FRIEND OF PAIGE BIRGFELD: "It was a future night. She was telling me to put it on my calendar for July 16 because I had expressed an interest in signing up as a Pampered Chef consultant."

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: "All right. So you basically — I mean, both of you have children. You're both mothers. So this — your relationship was basically around the children and your friendship? I mean, you don't know anything about this escort service, do you? Or do you?"

ANDREA LAND, FRIEND OF PAIGE BIRGFELD: "No, I really don't know anything about it. I was aware that she had, you know, danced at one point, and it really wasn't something that we pried into. But I'd like to dispel this idea that she was duplicitous and leading a double life because there were some people who did know about it, and if anybody had asked Paige, she would have told them. It just wasn't something that she advertised."

ANDREA LAND, FRIEND OF PAIGE BIRGFELD: "Oh, yes, definitely. I mean, she had talked to me about her rekindling her romance with Howard, who she actually — she married her second husband because Howard didn't want children, according to her. But we talked about a lot of things. And I just never asked, you know? I didn't feel like it was my business to pry into her personal life. I didn't ask her, you know, where she was making her money because it's just not something we talked about."

Paige promised to finish building a treehouse for kids
Thursday "Since Birgfeld disappeared June 28, family, friends and investigators have been trying to piece together her two identities. They have found hints about a woman who was coming home that day with promises she would finish building a treehouse for her children but had made arrangements to meet a male client first. Investigators are narrowing down a handful of "persons of interest" who were clients of Birgfeld's escort business - a list gleaned from cellphone records in the hours before she was expected home." http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_6383828

Ron Biegler drove back to his home in Aurora, Colorado

From GRETA VAN SUSTEREN 'On the Record' 07/19/2007
Thursday JOHN ROMERO, KDVR-TV DENVER: "Hi, Greta. Well, Ron [Howard "Ron" Beigler] told me along the lines of what Chuck just described, that that had gotten back in touch early this year, had seen each other for the first time in March since the separation of their first marriage, and that they had made a rendezvous in Eagle that evening, on the 28th. It was a picnic, he said, and that broke up later in the evening.

Now, what Ron told me of interest during our interview and discussion yesterday was that at some point that evening, Paige had called him and told him she was going to see one or possibly two clients that evening. And he knew what that meant. He was fairly aware of the circles of the world that she was working in, in that part of her life, and that she had told him she was going to see one or two clients that evening. So that puts her at work with her escort service on the night that she disappeared."

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: "Is there any — where was husband number one [Howard "Ron" Biegler] that night of June 28? He says that she left Eagle and went to Grand Junction. Where was he?"

JOHN ROMERO, KDVR-TV DENVER: "He turned around and drove back to his home, which is in Aurora, a suburb just to the east of Denver. And as far as we know from police, they believe his alibi. The sheriff has told me, as he has told others, that they are sort of leading their investigation away from any potential involvement from either of the two ex-husbands."

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: "All right. Husband number two — was he aware that — and he was the divorce, so they weren't married (INAUDIBLE) Was he aware that she had rekindled her relationship with husband number one, and were there any problems with that dynamic?"

JOHN ROMERO, KDVR-TV DENVER: "I really don't have a good answer for you on that one. Husband number one intentionally steered away from husband number two. In fact, he told me that the reason why they were doing these rendezvous in kind of neutral locations was that he did not want to go to Grand Junction, in part because he did not want any kind of involvement with husband number two. So I don't know what..."

Ex-husband Howard "Ron" Biegler phoned Paige at 9:00pm

Or did Paige phone him that night?
Thursday "Paige Birgfeld, also known as Paige Dixon and Paige Biegler, was last seen nearby Eagle [Colorado] with her first ex-husband Howard Biegler. They had recently rekindled their relationship and were on the phone with each other the night she disappeared. Biegler called her at 9pm while she was on her way home - but she never made it."

LE looking for detour drivers between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m because of accident at 23 and G roads
Thursday "Investigators looking into Paige Birgfeld’s disappearance want to talk to any drivers detoured because of a traffic accident June 28 — the same time the missing mother was last heard from. The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release on Tuesday it was looking for anyone diverted between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., following an accident at 23 and G roads, June 28. The intersection where the accident occurred is about one half-mile south of the parking lot at 727 23 Road where Birgfeld’s Ford Focus was found burned on July 1. Anyone who was detoured is asked to call sheriff’s investigator Peter Burg at 244-3263. According to a Grand Junction police accident report, the two-vehicle accident happened at 6:36 p.m. The wreck hospitalized 81-year-old Madelon Monson of Fruita with several injuries. The report isn’t clear about how long the intersection was closed as a result." http://www.gjfreepress.com/article/20070718/COMMUNITY_NEWS/70717019&SearchID=73288110769206

Wednesday NEWS: "Paige had many businesses going at the same time to make enough money to support her three children and her house, valued at $909,330. Her father said she got the house after her divorce to her second husband, Rob Dixon, over a year ago. Her father also recently learned that his daughter may have two additional homes in the Denver area, purchased for “flips” or investment projects. She sells a type of harness to support babies being breast-fed by their mothers. She formed a dance studio for little kids called “Brain Dance.” But mainly, Paige was an independent sales director for a Chicago-based company called the Pampered Chef. Carrie posted she's willing to travel within Colorado and neighboring states by charted jet only
Monday "Authorities on Monday [07/09/2007] confirmed an adult-oriented Web page touting the escort services of “Carrie of Grand Junction” is linked to missing mother Paige Birgfeld, but wouldn’t say much about it. “We’re aware of it and it’s part of the investigation,” Mesa County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Heather Gierhart said.

The site, www.naughtynightlife.com, includes a page for “Carrie,” a 29-year-old female who offers services including escort, erotic massage, private dancer, groups and parties — she says she’s willing to travel “within Colorado and neighboring states by charted jet only.” The sheriff’s office has said Birgfeld was known to some customers of Models Inc., as Carrie.

The page for “Carrie” also includes comments posted by four men who claimed to have received her services. “Dennis” posted a comment on June 25, three days before Birgfeld was last seen by family members. Gierhart declined to talk about what investigators have learned from those men. “If we have (interviewed the four men), we wouldn’t release any information about it,” Gierhart said."

Paige's children in Arizona with Rob Dixon's family
Saturday "Her parents wander her spacious house filled with reminders of their daughter - framed photos of her three young children, unopened boxes of Pampered Chef merchandise in an airy home office, and the still-unmade bed where she last slept with her children. Craig Birgfeld, her older brother by almost two years, flew in with his wife and young son from Seattle when word got out that Paige was missing the night of June 28. He doesn't know what to do. Sometimes, he just randomly goes out with the dog and starts looking for her. Her mother, Suzanne Birgfeld, was able to distract herself by helping with Paige's three children - Jess, 8, Taft, 6 and Kohl, 3. But they're gone now - currently in Arizona with her ex-husband, Rob Dixon." http://www.rockymountainnews.com

Blockbuster movie-rental card and her checkbook
Sunday Searchers found a 15-mile trail of clues Sunday along a highway [near Whitewater and Bridgeport ] leading out of Grand Junction that may point the way to a local mother missing for more than two weeks. About two dozen items that "very clearly" or "most likely" belong to Paige Birgfeld, 34, were found scattered along U.S. 50 south of the city, said Mesa County sheriff's spokeswoman Heather Gierhart. Among them were Birgfeld's Blockbuster movie-rental card and her checkbook, said Connie Flukey, who helped coordinate the weekend search. When Sunday began, searchers were told to focus on the median and edges of the highway. They began about 10 miles south of Grand Junction, where investigators found some of Birgfeld's belongings a week and a half ago, said Gierhart." http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_6383837

Some friends were suspicious
Monday "Some of Birgfeld's friends from her Grand River Play Group and her Moms Club suspected there was something more in her life but didn't question the high-energy, dedicated mother with the big smile. She always was the first to bring over a meal when someone had a baby. She opened her home for club parties on holidays. She expertly sewed costumes for dance recitals. She gave homemade food gifts to her Pampered Chef clients. "Paige has that need to give and help out others," said Jaime Silvernail, a close friend who lived at Birgfeld's for a short time while she and her husband were house-hunting." http://www.denverpost.com/search/ci_6383828

Friend of Paige Birgfeld from

Thursday GRETA VAN SUSTEREN Show: Police go 'On the Record' about Paige Birgfeld's Reported Double Life, GUESTS: Sheriff Stan Hilkey from the Mesa County sheriff's department, Chuck Murphy assisting managing editor for The Denver Post, John Romero, KDVR-TV Reporter, Andrea Land friend of Paige Birgfeld from Grand Junction

VAN SUSTEREN: "So she left her first husband's home in Eagle or meeting with him, drove to Grand Junction and never went home. She went to see someone or someone nabbed her or something happened at that point, right?"

SHERIFF STAN HILKEY, MESA COUNTY: "Yes, that's what we believe, is it's that period of time, getting back to Grand Junction, that is the most critical right now for us to understand what happened to Paige"

VAN SUSTEREN: "The area from where you found her car to the home of the Joneses [Lester Ralph and Elaine Jones], where there's been a second search warrant executed — is the area in between where you found the items that belonged to her, to Paige, that have been apparently tossed out of the car or out of her possession?"

SHERIFF STAN HILKEY, MESA COUNTY: "They're in a general direction, probably not — not in the line of sight with that house, no. But the items were found south of Grand Junction on highway 50, and that home is in east Grand Junction."

CHUCK MURPHY, DENVER POST: "Well, Ralph (ph) Jones is a mechanic. His wife is a credit union manager or credit union employee. They've lived in this house for about two-and-a-half years. Ralph Jones has a criminal history — he goes by the name Ralph, by his middle name, according to his neighbors. He has a criminal history involve assault and attempted kidnapping. Our understanding is that's the result after domestic situation [previous wife at the time] that occurred in a county near Grand Junction in 1999."

JOHN ROMERO, KDVR-TV DENVER: "To follow up on a point Chuck made, we have some very new reporting today out of our affiliate in Grand Junction, which we discussed tonight (INAUDIBLE) They have a source close to a friend and neighbor of Mr. Jones, Lester Jones, who confirms to them Lester Jones was a client of Paige Birgfeld's escort service. So that has, for the first time that we know of, established a relationship between Lester Jones or Ralph Jones and Paige Birgfeld."

According to Biegler, Birgfeld has been an escort for the last 5 or 6 and was a stripper when he was married to her. She became an escort because she "had a lot of bills and a really hefty mortgage". Friday NEWS: "Paige's 'Naughtynightlife' website was later discovered, where she advertised her escort services under the name 'Carrie'. Carrie was very well-liked by her male customers, but when authorities came across a customer satisfied by "extra" services, it led investigators to believe that her 'services' may have crossed legal boundaries.

Paige called herself a Grand Junction escort with 34D-24-35 measurements on her website, and she offered several different in-call and outcall services to men, women, and even couples. The services were listed as: "escort, erotic massage, private dancer, groups and parties." She was also willing to travel, but by chartered jet only.

Search to change direction after consultation with Mesa County sheriff’s investigators

Paige's brother Craig Birgfeld to return to Seattle Washington on Saturday
Thursday "An organized volunteer search for Paige Birgfeld will move to Delta, focusing on the Grand Mesa area toward Cedaredge. Connie Flukey with the Jennifer and Abby Recovery Foundation, whose volunteers have searched large swaths of ground across the Grand Valley over the past two weeks, said the decision to relocate was made Tuesday in consultation with Mesa County sheriff’s investigators.

Her brother, Craig Birgfeld, said Wednesday he’s heading back to work in Seattle on Saturday after two weeks searching for his sister. Craig Birgfeld, a plastic surgeon specializing in pediatrics at the University of Washington’s Seattle Children’s Hospital, arrived in Grand Junction on July 2. He said he’ll return soon. “I finally just said I have my own family to tend to,” he said. “It’s hard to leave without Paige.”

Mess County Sheriff's spokeswoman Heather Gierhart said Ralph Jones is on a long list of people of interest because of their ties to the Paige
Friday "People interested in volunteering for Saturday's search can register Friday from 2 p.m. until dusk at Bill Heddles Recreation Center, 530 Gunnison River Drive, in Delta. Volunteers also can call (970) 260-1821.

Investigators earlier named a 56-year-old Grand Junction man, whose home they've searched twice, as a "person of interest" in Birgfeld's disappearance. Lester Ralph Jones has not been named a suspect, however, and sheriff's spokeswoman Heather Gierhart said she could not discuss details of the searches at Jones' house because of a judge's order sealing the warrants. Gierhart said Jones is on a long list of people of interest whom authorities are exploring because of their ties to the woman.

Investigators have focused some of their work on Birgfeld's cell phone records and her escort business, a line of work her family and friends knew little about before she disappeared."
