Search Warrant

At approximately 1300 hours I, CSI Gerardo Bloise, received a call from Detective Yuri Melich who informed me of a search warrant in the matter of felony violation of the laws of the State of Florida, to wit: Florida State Statues 827.03(3)(C) 837.055, 837.06. Said search warrant was issued by Honorable Ronald Legendre, Circuit Court Judge of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court, and was to be executed at 4937 Hopespring Drive, Orlando, Florida in Orange County, Florida.

At approximately 1438 hours this investigator, CSI-II Alina Burroughs, Detective Yuri Melich and Sgt. John Allen arrived at 4937 Hopespring Drive where we met with Mr. and Mrs. Anthony. Detective Melich proceeded to explain to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony that he had a search warrant to search the home for trace evidence and collect evidence regarding this case.

I proceeded to photograph the interior of the residence for documentation. This investigator, CSI-II Alina Burroughs, Detective Melich and Mrs. Cindy Anthony proceeded to Casey's room located on the east side of the residence. Once in the room we asked Mrs. Anthony about the clothing that was used by Casey Marie Anthony when her granddaughter went missing. Mrs. Anthony stated to us that Casey used the gray charcoal pants. Mrs. Anthony then proceeded to open the closet and pulled out the gray charcoal pants and placed them on the bed. I proceeded to photograph the interior of the room as well as the pants for documentation.

I asked Mrs. Anthony about the shoes that Casey wore at the time when her granddaughter went missing. Mrs. Anthony informed me that the shoes Casey used were in the car, and described a pair of black boots and black shoes. Once Mrs. Anthony provided us with the information she left the room.

Inside the room we proceed to cover the window with black paper in order to inspect the room with an A.L.S. (Alternate Light Source). Using the A.L.S., this investigator and Alina Burroughs inspected several pieces of clothing that were inside the closet. After checking several pieces of clothing we observed that some pieces of clothing had what appeared to be suspected stains.
