[Abraham Shakespeare]Abraham Shakespeare MURDERED - Plant City, Florida (Hillsborough Co.) April 2009
Abraham Shakespeare (42) won $31 million dollars in the Florida Lottery in 2006. He took a lump sum payout of approximately $17 million. He remained a frugal person as he had before his lottery windfall, but after numerous failed real estate transactions, loans, and friendships Abraham has suddenly gone missing. He was last seen in the Lakeland area in April 2009. Dorice Emma Donegan Moore (AKA Dee Dee Moore) stated in the media that she bought out Abraham's debts to enable him to move away to escape paying child support arrears for a second child that was born after the lottery windfall. Law Enforcement believes there may be more to this story. Abraham Shakespeare's body was found on January 28, 2010 buried beneath a cement slab on the rear property of Shar Krasniqi located at 5802 S.R.60 East, Plant City, Florida 33567. Shar Krasniqi was the boyfriend of Dorice Emma Donegan Moore (AKA Dee Dee Moore). On February 2, 2010 Dee Dee Moore was arrested, first charged with Accessory after the fact and later with First Degree Murder of Abraham Shakespeare.

.
HOLLIS: Okay. And what did y'all talk about last night?

DONEGAN: Well, we went over to see how she was..cause she...over the phone..we hadn't seen her for a week or..at least a week or so. And we took her some ABC Pizza and a salad..she likes. And then we'd all sitting down talking and..and, uh she's telling us, oh, you know, things like they think RJ did is and all this stuff where I..and I said, well, I wished, I could just take all of it for ya, you know. In other words, you know...and, uh...

HOLLIS: Meaning you wanted to take the burden off your daughter?

DONEGAN: Yeah, off my daughter. And, uh..she..she said, well would you, Dad? And I said wh..then I didn't speak too much about it. And uh..then my wife...we all talked, you know, just carry regular conversations. And asked her...I asked her, I think..I said, did you really do this or...or did you set...she said first what she told was...was two black people and that shot and, uh..at first it was in the shoulder. And..I said okay. And as she's telling us..like I's..were going home with my wife, I said how could..she can't possibly done this by herself. You know, that guy's pretty good size, lanky tall guy what I seen pictures of. And plus bury him. And then she told us that here how..w..sent her husband to lunch and that's when he..she...or whoever threw him in the..the guys threw her in the hole, where his concrete was.

WALLACE: When you say husband, you mean her ex-husband James Moore? Correct?

DONEGAN: Yeah, dug the hole.

WALLACE: Yeah.

DONEGAN: Uh....

WALLACE: According to her?

DONEGAN: Yeah.

WALLACE: Okay.

DONEGAN: Uh, and uh, then, uh..she went and, uh...she was sweaty and (INAUDIBLE) like that...and like I said, went and told my wife, I was ne..never think and knew something like that going on. I cut the grass, like I said, every week. And then she the..guys pour that driveway and pour that concrete there, so that just really surprised me and..and, uh, stuff. And she

had...she was talking back and forth, you know, with different things..but..and then but said..she comes over here this morning and she's..was sitting here and I said, you know, you all right, kid? You know and all this. And she said, you really would do something like that, Dad? (Sighing)

HOLLIS: Meaning would you..that you would take her place?

DONEGAN: Yeah. It's just a father or daughter...

HOLLIS: Uh-huh.

DONEGAN: ..or whatever. You know how your kids get sick, I really wished I could have this.

WALLACE: Right.

DONEGAN: So..I ain't said much to her about it. And she said, well you're old, getting old and all this stuff, you know. And, uh, I kinda...eh..you know..but that was about all I..my conversation was. And..no.

HOLLIS: Okay. So basically she was just asking if..if you would take her place in all this?

DONEGAN: Basically.

HOLLIS: That..that's what you...

DONEGAN: Yeah.

DONEGAN: Yeah. So..as far as, uh..I woulda never down nothing like that. Never had, never will. And like I told her, I got, uh, a...a heart operation..if I get ten more years out of life I'm doing good (laughing). So...

DONEGAN: (INAUDIBLE)

HOLLIS: Stainless steel.

WALLACE: Yeah, stainless steel would be that. DONEGAN: Yeah. And she'd bring me that and then she left. And then I said, well, Dorice..why you taking that? I got somebody buying it. And I had it here and we had my wife's fingerprints on this stuff and is it..or did I do...she has brought back occasionally or bring something over here, Dad, would you hold this, I got a sale, you know, somebody gonna buy it down there. You know it might been whatever, you know. And I..she's always selling and buying stuff, you know, so..I didn't think much of it till they started digging that property up.

HOLLIS: Uh-huh.

DONEGAN: And then I said, oh shit. I said my hands are..fingerprints are all over this. And I asked her, I said do you take them guns..and, oh, I wiped them all off and cleaned them up. And basically that was all she said on that part.

WALLACE: Now didn't she mention that she probably gonna be...back up. She gave you that...she gave it to you about a month ago but she took it back early last week? The same day she got the trailer?

DONEGAN: Not all three.

WALLACE: Just the .38?

DONEGAN: The .38 was the last one she got and I went to the gara..garage and got it and brought it out.

WALLACE: Is that the same day she got the trailer also?

DONEGAN: I believe so.

WALLACE: You believe so?

DONEGAN: I believe.

WALLACE: Think your wife would know better...

DONEGAN: Yeah, yeah.

WALLACE: ..upon the day?

DONEGAN: I..I'm, uh..really, I am. I..

WALLACE: (Laughing)

DONEGAN: ..can't remember that well much anymore. But, uh..yeah.

WALLACE: Okay. Uh, and just for the record you've never met Abraham Shakespeare?

DONEGAN: I have never met any of 'em 'cept that one woman, uh..that induced the..

WALLACE: J..Judy Haggins?

DONEGAN: Yes. She induced of a..uh..some my daughter.

WALLACE: Oh. okay.

HOLLIS: Introduced'em? Okay.

DONEGAN: Yeah.

WALLACE: And..and you've...you've by no mean ever shot Abraham Shakespeare?

DONEGAN: No.

WALLACE: You never killed anyone?

DONEGAN: No (nervous laughter). I never..

HOLLIS: You have anything to do with his death?

DONEGAN: Huh?

HOLLIS: You have anything to do with his death?

DONEGAN: NO. I can say that. Nothing. I didn't even know he's here. And when y'all was on the news, that was the first time I knew and my wife..we was, ugh!

HOLLIS: Right.

WALLACE: Now, as far as your daughter Dee Dee, it seems to us that in the last year she's come into quite a bit of money. Have you noticed that?

DONEGAN: Yes, I did. For a while there I'd look at my wife, uh, Hummer...bought her boyfriend a sports car.

WALLACE: Right.

DONEGAN: What was it? A Corvette. Bought a brand new pick-up and, uh..ten thousand dollar watches.

WALLACE: Right.

DONEGAN: Her son. And..her boyfriend had..both got nice watches. Things like that.

WALLACE: Things like that? And...did you ever ask her about it? Or is it..in the house, obviously, also.

DONEGAN: Oh, she..she would tell us cause, uh..that, uh..one was about a, uh...oh God..uh, one was about taxes or something. She'd turned somebody in for tax and got money. You know...

HOLLIS: She was making...

DONEGAN: ...that didn't sound right.

HOLLIS: ...she was making reasons for why she had so much...

DONEGAN: She was making, you know, and this did not add up.

HOLLIS: Right.

DONEGAN: That's why you are all here today cause..(chuckling)..I love my daughter and I'd hate to see anything happen to her, but it's gone too far.

WALLACE: Right.

DONEGAN: And, uh, she needs to break down and say who, what, you know, anything like that.

WALLACE: Okay. All right. Is there anything that we haven't asked you..about..that you have any knowledge of about this?

DONEGAN: Her past or anything like that?

WALLACE: Yeah. I mean do ever...have you known her to be truthful in the past or has she had a problem her whole life?

DONEGAN: She's been like her cousin. She tell the fibiest(sic) fibs. Uh, like my wife and I, uh..she had an office in Plant City there and it caught on fire and burned down. And thank God the kids that lived in that apartment next to there..they're okay and all but it just was strange that everything was out of her...out of that she wanted and just used computer systems and stuff. That

was, you know, what was in there, she said. And then she had a burnt car years ago, caught on fire a ye..pretty nice used car.

WALLACE: Hmmm.

DONEGAN: Then she u...said one time she was raped by some Mexicans and they stole a car. No, but she had a..a, you know..I..I don't know if I should tell ya that but that's the way..I feel as though, you know, that's the way it has been, that's the way it happened and I ain't got nothing to lose about it. I mean...that's the way it happened. One...

WALLACE: So..so it's fair to say she's had a checkered past and she's not always been the most truthful of...of children?

DONEGAN: That's correct. That's correct. It just had..things sometimes I shake my head on, you know. But, uh...basically that's all I, you know...

HOLLIS: Okay. Uh, I didn't say this in the beginning but this is in reference to HCSO Case Number 2010-42...no, that's not right. This one(laughing)...10...2010- 42631. And...

WALLACE: Real quick...

(Clearing throat in background)

WALLACE: ...all the information you've provided, you provided on..you came forward to talk to us. We haven't coerced you...

DONEGAN: No. I wanted....

WALLACE: ...or threatened you in any way?

DONEGAN: ...no. Nothing. Nothing. Y'all have been good gentlemen. She told us the Sheriff's was down there or whoever arrested her, that they, uh...threw pages at her and all this and misabuse (sic) but...I wasn't there or anything like that. That's the only things that she told us things about. And, uh..no.

WALLACE: And everything you've said has been true and correct to the best of your knowledge?

DONEGAN: Best of my knowledge, yes, sir. Best of my knowledge.

HOLLIS: Go ahead and stop the interview. It's 1556.

END OF INTERVIEW
