"Greta with Bruce: Timeline of Sunday according to Bruce. - "Sunday morning [10/28/2007] around 10 AM, he [Bruce Zidarich] shared back and forth text messages with Stacey.
She then called him at 10:15. She said that she had been just lounging in bed for a couple of hours, and that she AND HER KIDS were going to go to the house to paint today. Bruce was supposed to wait to hear from Stacey's sister Cassandra, and then call Stacey after Cassandra got in touch with them. Then they were all to meet over there to paint. However, Cassandra had decided to go to her mother's house that day, and didn't call Bruce. At 4PM Bruce sent Stacey a text message saying "Lets paint tomorrow". He received no reply. Greta asked him when he began to worry about Stacey. Bruce said that Cassandra called him around 7 PM and said she had not been able to reach Stacey all day. Sources say the man is a relative, but police will not confirm that. Stacy's friend and neighbor, Sharon Bychowski, says Drew did visit someone in the hospital a few days after Stacy disappeared. "He needed me to watch the kids if I could for about an hour and a half; he was going to go visit a relative that had tried to commit suicide," Bychowski said. Bychowski says she asked Drew about that relative's wellbeing when he returned from the hospital later. "I did ask him, I said, 'how is your relative,' and he said, 'What? The boy was out helping supervise his stepbrother Anthony, 4, and stepsister Lacy, 2, as they trick-or-treated, dressed as Spider-Man and Tinker Bell respectively." "He said: 'I was in my bedroom and I heard mommy and daddy fighting.'" "Kris told Sharon that Stacy was yelling she wanted a divorce and that she wanted his father to move out of the house. "I'm going to have to ask you to be my hostage when the cops come for me. Maybe I'll have a standoff with them," said Drew. "It's something you'd see in a movie; it was something I'll never forget," he said. Peterson has summoned his neighbor to the house, because Peterson said he hadn't heard from his estranged wife in nearly two days, Davlantes reported. Peterson told Carcerano, who was a locksmith and was going to be at the house soon, to open up the house and see what was going on. "I went from the closet to the bathroom," Carcerano said. "It looked like there was a rubber exercise ball or something in the whirlpool. When I looked down, it was Kathy. She was naked -- she was dead -- hair over her face." Carcerano, who said Peterson was steps behind him when the body was discovered in the home that Savio and Peterson owned, described Peterson's reaction when he saw Savio's body. "He ran upstairs and upon seeing her, he just broke down and started screaming, 'Oh my God, oh my God! What am I gonna tell my kids?'" Carcerano said"

Richard Mims, Drew Peterson's former friend, sold his story to the National Enquirer."

Carcerano says older kids watched TV w/Stacy's
sisters talking about abuse to Stacy and they denied seeing that.
ILL STEVE CARCERANO, DREW PETERSON'S NEIGHBOR: "Well, I`ve been in his house, like I said, and the 2- and 4-year-old, they don`t really say much about Stacy, they`re just running around playing. The two older ones, 13 and 14, Chris and Tommy, they were -- about two weeks ago I was at his house and we were watching the -- I can`t remember what program it was, but it had Stacy`s two sisters on there and they were talking about two different times, one that he supposedly pushed her down the stairs and another one he pushed her against the wall. Both kids jumped off the couch and said, dad, that`s not true, we`ve never seen that happen. And he said, kids I just can`t win. So that type of stuff gets him mad because they are false accusations as far as he is concerned. And the kids were right there, I have seen the 13- and 14-year- old say that right in front of me, so."

Peterson hiring PI
Brodsky said Peterson children were questioned at a child advocacy center by the state's attorneys
ILL FoxNews - "The Big Story With John Gibson and Heather Nauert"
JOHN GIBSON: A number of things to cover with you if you don't mind but let's start with hiring the private eye. Drew hires a private eye. Where does he think Stacy is? - JOEL BRODSKY: "Well, that's what the private eye is hired to find out. We're starting by following up electronic leads, text messages, cell phone calls, things of that nature, and seeing where they lead us. They just started, and that's how they are going to start proceeding." - GIBSON: Joel, the — there are now reports that Drew's kids may be called before the grand jury. What can you tell us about that? - BRODSKY:
"Well, I know that his older boy is — they were called before the grand jury but they weren't interviewed by the grand jury. There is a child advocacy center where they were questioned by the state's attorneys because they are rather young, they're teenagers, I think 13 and 14, and they were fully interviewed once. I haven't heard that they were going to be called again, but if they are called, they are subject to grand jury jurisdiction and will have to come."

"We're going to try putting that together and make the best of a bad situation" ILL "Drew Peterson talked to Newsradio 780 yesterday - a week before Christmas - about Santa Claus, his two youngest children, and his missing wife Stacy." - "Peterson, a former Bolingbrook police sergeant, said "We do the best we can. We're going to have a Santa Claus come to visit them and stuff. We're going to try putting that together and make the best of a bad situation." Do the younger kids still think that Stacy's coming back? "Let's hope so," Peterson said." - "Peterson acknowledged he had hired a private investigator to look into Stacy's disappearance. Asked if that was a positive step, Peterson said, "I could use something positive."

Peterson wants Denzel [Washington] in movie of his life
IL "The convoy of TV trucks was gone. Not a single reporter was in sight. Only the fluttering "Caution. Do Not Enter" tape encircling a neighbor's front yard hinted at the frenzy that, until recently, enveloped Pheasant Chase Court. And Drew Peterson liked it that way. "It's a great break -- it's almost like I can live a normal life," said a relaxed-looking Peterson, sitting in a burgundy leather chair behind a wooden desk in his home office one morning last week."
"They're hot on the trail of my family and friends," a sarcastic Peterson said of the grand jury."
"In the adjoining living room, Anthony and Lacy -- the two young children he has with Stacy -- squabbled in front of a huge TV that played cartoons. "Anthony and Lacy, I'm talking to people," Peterson called out in a voice more fatherly than stern. "What happens if you're bad? Go up to your room." Prepared to sell his story. Lacking the media swarm, and apparently with no place to be, Peterson chatted about a range of subjects, from his love of flying to the actor he'd most like to see play him in the movie version of his life. "I look a lot like Denzel [Washington]," he joked."

Gary Marcolina, Drew's best man at his wedding refused to talk to the media

IL 01/15/2008 Craig Wall (www.myfoxchicago.com) reporting FOX NEWS EXCLUSIVE (VIDEO):
"Drew Peterson's Will With Kathleen Savio Subpoenaed by Grand Jury"

CRAIG WALL: "The date of the WILL, March 2, 1997, nearly seven years later almost to the day Kathleen Savio would be found dead in her bathtub. That simple handwritten statement would become her Last Will and Testament." - "It had been a bitter divorce. Her husband was in the middle of an adulteress affair with 19 year old Stacy Peterson and while Kathleen remembered to change the beneficiaries on her life insurance there was still that WILL." - "So despite the divorce, Drew Peterson got all her furniture, jewelry and the money from the sale of the home, about $288,000 thousand dollars. He was also named guardian of the children's million dollar trust fund." - "But take a close look at the will."
DREW PETERSON: "There really wasn't nothing sinister about it, just something simple if something happen if we were on vacation." - "I wrote up the WILL with Kathleen's instructions and we simply had a couple friends that were over to witness it and that was that simple."

CRAIG WALL: "Those friends turned out to be Peterson's former partners in the Bolingbrook Police Department and according to the Savio family, Drew's best man at their wedding. Alex Morelli, Drew's former partner says he wants nothing more to do with Drew and has nothing positive to say about him. He said Drew has turned his world upside down. Best man, Gary Marcolina took off when we tied to talk to him. The old Will names James B. Carrol, Drew’s Uncle, names him executor and gives him full control. He confirmed the account that he was going on vacation but declined to comment further. Once the Will was admitted into court, Carrol promptly fired Kathleen's attorney and discharged another lawyer appointed by the court to watch out for the best interest of the children. So Mr. Carrol had an obligation not to be looking out for Drew but to look out for Kathleen."
CRAIG WALL: "So who does it appear the executor was looking out for in this case?"

"We have just learned: ...the boys of Drew Peterson, subpoenaed yesterday morning to testify before the grand jury at 9am this morning did NOT testify. Their testimony has been postponed. We are attempting to get more information. My guess? that the boys hired a lawyer and that the lawyer got it postponed in order that he could debrief the boys and advise them of their rights etc…this would be routine reason to postpone."
"UPDATE: 2:59pm - It was just confirmed to me the reason for the postponement of the boys’ grand jury testimony - it is so that they can get a lawyer to advise them or their rights and to explain the grand jury process to them. They will not get individual lawyers but rather the boys will share one."

Apparently Thomas Morphey disappeared according to Joel Brodsky
ILL Greta Van Sustern "On the Record" Update (02/28/2008) RECAP by "Snicker":
GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, HOST: We have JB on the phone. - JOEL BRODSKY: We just pulled in on the plane. DP is going to obtain an attorney for the boys and the hearing will be postponed. When the boy first spoke with a child advocate, DP was promised that the boys would not have to testify before the GJ, so he's very disappointed that they will have to. - GRETA: We just had Ric Mims on and he stated that DP showed him a folding gun he had after the rest of his guns were seized. Does he have any guns? - BRODSKY: No, LE took all of his guns. - GRETA: I'm sure you are aware that his FOID card has been revoked. - BRODSKY: We don't know why yet. This is just a pretext by LE to further vex DP because this happened within 24 hours of the hearing and it doesn't usually happen that quickly. - GRETA: Do you know anything about the folding gun? - BRODSKY: No I don't. Ric Mim's credibility is questionable anyway. - GRETA: Do you know where Thomas Morphey is? - BRODSKY: No, Thomas Morphey has not been heard from for months. No one that we know of has heard from RM, even the family doesn't know where he is. We know of no reason he would be in protective custody. If he was in protective custody, we would certainly know about it. Apparently he just slipped off and disappeared.

"While in California, he and his staff quietly treated hundreds of celebrities for addiction and affective disorders. Now Dr. Daniel Budenz, Ph.D., known to many as "Dr. Dan," is publicly defending the care of Drew Peterson's children. "The Peterson children are caught in the middle of dueling family members and huge media frenzy,'' says Dr. Dan, who was friends with Peterson 20 years ago and recently reconnected. "The family has had to wake up at four in the morning to the roar of media generators, climb over the back fence to attend school and then hear the accusations against their dad on TV." Dr. Dan says the Peterson children know what is happening-appropriate for their ages and abilities. "From what I see, Drew and the outside help he's hired to help care for the children are doing a great job," says Dr. Dan. Peterson is the former Chicago area police officer who's at the center of one of the biggest crime investigations."
