Topix forum poster states Peterson suggested Kathleen's current boyfriend got her on drugs ILL www.topix.com forum thread titled, "Man believes wife safe"
by, "friend of a friend", Evanston, IL, #18 Nov 1, 2007, QUOTE:
1) Drew and Stacey actually started dating when she was 16,
2) They got married in a park as soon as the divorce was final (I believe it was within the week),
3) She was preggo was they married,
4) She has a muddled history with her family, bad relations and falling in out favor with them and vice verse,

5) The night that wife #3 was murdered, he was calm as a cucumber. He didn't act surprised and was saying that her current boyfriend had gotten her on drugs or that drugs might be involved somehow,
6) Stacey was freaking out that night, locked jaw, couldn't breathe, crying, sympathizing for the two boys

Topix forum poster states "He [Drew] would show up at Kathy's (third wife) house for visitation and would bring a camcorder." ILL www.topix.com, "Bolingbrook sergeant's house searched in wife's disappearance"
by, "Neighbor" Mokena, IL, #34 Thursday Nov 1 [11/01/2007] QUOTE:
"I'm Drew Petersons former neighbor and was still living on Pheasant Chase during his third wifes death in 2004. The investigation of Kathy's death was very weak and was hard to believe she drown in a bathtub. If you knew the amount of times the police were summoned to the home during the divorce, you would convict Drew Peterson immediatley.
He was very calm and methodical but knew which buttons to push to throw Kathy over the edge. He would show up at Kathy's (third wife) house for visitation and would bring a camcorder. Kathy hated him so much, she would give him a hard time. In the meantime, he was trying to build his case against her using the camcorder as evidence of her bad behavior. The police sided with him of course. It was unbelievable. When she was found dead, not many of us were surprised. The finger was pointed immediately at Drew. He also had the nerve to show up at her funeral. I met Stacy before Kathy died, she seemed nice, but don't know much about her other than casual chat. Drew is a very low key, unassuming individual. It's kind of hard to believe he's capable but he has the knowledge and background to pull something like this off. By the way, he isn't a "well to do" indivudual. He gained from the life insurance policy at Kathy's death, and since the divorce was not finalized when she passed, the house went to him. He sold it for $350,000 immediately. Him and Stacy refused to live in their old house, so they purchased another home 2 blocks away."

Puccinelli talks about an early interview WBBM TV was attempting with Drew Peterson ILL MIKE PUCCINELLI (WBBM TV): "I found him to be very authoritative. Initially we went up to the door with the cameras rolling and tried to get in and he told us to go to hell. He said you need to turn off those cameras so we went back up with the camera's off, we talked over and negotiated and eventually he let us inside but he took charge immediately and had us stand in line in front of the desk and it was almost like he was interviewing us. And one thing I found kind of odd Harry was that while we were in there it's obviously a very serious matter, a very grave day but after we had done some pre-functionary interviewing, he wasn't telling us much, he basically at one point made a joke because we asked him, you know because afterwards we were trying to get him to go on camera because at this point he said he wanted to protect his anonymity and he said something to the effect of, look the only way I'll go on camera is if I talk through my (#@!) and he used another word for rear end, like Jim Carrey, of course he was referring to the Jim Carrey gag and I have to say it was uncomfortable and we're sitting there and I can't believe he's saying it."

"She said that if she disappeared to find her and that's why I'm here" ILL "She told me Friday [10/26/2007] night that she feared for her life and that she said that if she disappeared to find her and that's why I'm here," said Cassandra Cales, missing woman's sister. Days before Stacy was reported missing, her sister says she told her she wanted out of the marriage. "She was on anti-depressants because of him. The way he controlled her, the way he treated her, she was trying to keep the marriage together because of those kids," Cales said. On Saturday [11/04/2007], search parties combed a nearby park for clues and passed out flyers hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. "There's no possible way she would have left without those babies, there's no possible way," said Jamie Holt, family friend. "She wouldn't have let her family suffer like this. She has a really big heart and she wouldn't have been able to stand it," said Kaitlyn Holt, babysitter for Peterson kids."

Ric Mims says Drew Peterson has been put on administrative leave at BPD ILL "Friends Of Bolingbrook Police Sergeant Drew Peterson say he's had enough. "He just needed to clear his head, and he got the kids away from here, and I was here to watch the kids. They're in good hands. Now my job here is done," said Rick Mims, Drew Peterson's friend. Mims says Peterson has been put on administrative leave from the police department while state police search for his wife Stacy, who hasn't been seen since last Sunday. Peterson left his house on his motorcycle on Friday dressed in a disguise. "He's left the area and that's all I've got to say about that," Mims said. Mims says Drew Peterson wanted to escape from media attention and any speculation that he may have played a role in the disappearance of his wife."

"One volunteer that didn’t turn up is Stacy’s husband Drew, who took off on his motorcycle and hasn’t been seen since Friday. Do you find that strange? His friend Rick Mimms says Drew took off to “clear his head.” What he left behind — besides all the media now parked outside his house — are four kids. A neighbor told me by phone this weekend three of the kids are with Drew Peterson’s older son, who is a police officer in Oakbrook, Illinois. He and his wife are caring for the three youngest children. Two of them are Stacy’s … one is the son of wife #3 Kathleen Savio with Drew."

I would suggest that police search the home where she lived. Would look at all water and drain pipes...if the home has a filter, get to it soon. She could be buried in a some sort of mine, however I do not know where the mine is. I think there is also a black journal that is buried in the backyard on someone's involved home, this journal could tell of some sort of torture that did happen or the husband/boyfriend was planning and might include details of other murders and a 16 year old girlfriend. And I asked her if she was afraid because I felt afraid. - KING: And was the fear of her husband? - C. AIKIN: Yes. - KING: What led her to be afraid? - C. "It's something you'd see in a movie; it was something I'll never forget," he said. Peterson has summoned his neighbor to the house, because Peterson said he hadn't heard from his estranged wife in nearly two days, Davlantes reported. Peterson told Carcerano, who was a locksmith and was going to be at the house soon, to open up the house and see what was going on. "I went from the closet to the bathroom," Carcerano said. "It looked like there was a rubber exercise ball or something in the whirlpool. When I looked down, it was Kathy. She was naked -- she was dead -- hair over her face." Carcerano, who said Peterson was steps behind him when the body was discovered in the home that Savio and Peterson owned, described Peterson's reaction when he saw Savio's body. "He ran upstairs and upon seeing her, he just broke down and started screaming, 'Oh my God, oh my God! What am I gonna tell my kids?'" Carcerano said"

"I read the inquest; I looked at the crime-scene photographs; and I looked at the photographs from the autopsy. And with 29 years of experience, there's no doubt in my mind it wasn't an accident. That was clear." Authorities suspect Savio may have been knocked unconscious elsewhere and then placed in the tub. In their petition, prosecutors wrote that the head wound "did not render her unconscious" and that "evidence is consistent with the 'staging' of an accident to conceal a homicide." - ""The abrasions that were seen on her left buttock and her elbow are not the type of injuries that would occur on a smooth surface as those in the tub area," Glasgow said."

You cannot have a forensic pathologist sitting on the stand, testifying in a homicide case who has not had an opportunity to examine the body. GretaWire Blog poster tells of living next door to Peterson and his abusing his dog years ago
Peterson did live on Seminole Ln but was Drew Peterson a
K-9 officer?
ILL GretaWire Blog, “Just in: Big Development in the Sgt Peterson / Stacy Peterson Story!!"
"Comment by Margaret from Bolingbrook, November 13th, 2007 at 7:47 pm
"Greta- When I was in high school we lived next door to the Petersons on Seminole Ln in Bolingbrook. At the time, Drew was a K-9 officer. Our dog, a shepherd and his dog used to run side by side along our back fences. This used to piss Drew off so bad, because it wore away the grass that he would beat his dog. It was not uncommon for my mother to be yelling at him from the back window to stop beating his dog. On one occasion his wife appeared in the front of the house crying and with a black eye. She had two teenage sons and they both were very quiet and kept to themselves. My father (also a cop) gave Drew permission to “watch” me and if he saw me on the streets or with my friends to send me home, which he did on only one occasion. He was then as you see him now on TV, Sunglasses, No smiling or reactions. Just stone cold. Subsequently, I went on to do my inernship with the Bolingbrook Police Dept. and became a Police Officer in Chicago. People knew this man was an abuser, but there is a Code when you are a cop to never tell on another cop. Police protect eachother. No one in my neighborhood, my parents included called the Police on Drew when he beat his wife or dog. Back then, you just kept quiet. Im sure that is why his wife’s death was called “accidental"

2004 Coroner's Inquest
One panel member was a policeman who either knew Peterson personally or knew of him.
ILL WALTER LEE JAMES, JUROR AT SAVIO CORONER'S INQUEST: "at the time, we were given three options to either come to a decision as to whether it was natural, homicide or accidental. We did not have at the time the option of determining "undetermined" status." - "there was a police officer on the panel, and he indicated at the time he knew or knew of Peterson. And he indicated to the panel that he thought that Peterson was a good policeman. He was charitable and helped his neighbors, and so on and so forth. So I think that — I think that might have influenced some of the panel members, but I don't know that for sure." - "I was kind of apprehensive with one photograph showing her face down in an empty tub. And there was a lot of blood remaining in the tub, and I just — I didn't — myself did not consider — it was inconsistent with drowning. I feel that the blood that was in the tub should have probably dissipated into the water and drained out with the water. But like I said, I'm not an expert forensic person, so as a layperson, that's just how I felt."

Quotes from Peterson on the NBC Today Show ILL MATT LAUER: You have said on occasions that Stacy came to you and said she was seeing someone else, that there was another man. Is it fair to say that you believe that Stacy right now is with that other man? - DREW PETERSON: She never told me she was seeing another man. She -- well, maybe she did. But I believe she's with somebody else right now. MATT LAUER: Let me just go back to, did she or did she not say to you, 'I'm seeing someone else, Drew?' - DREW PETERSON: It wasn't put like that. She found somebody else. That was her exact words.
2007-11-14 NBC Today Show Quotes ILL Peterson: "Why would I look for somebody who I don't believe is missing? She's just gone."
Peterson: "I can look right in your eye and say I had nothing to do with either of those incidents"
Peterson: "Based on the media coverage, I'm as guilty as they come."
Peterson to Stacy (snickering): "Come home," he said. "Tell people where you are."
2007-11-14 NBC Today Show Quotes ILL Peterson: "Stacy would ask me for a divorce after her sister [Tina] died on a regular basis," he said. "I'm not trying to be funny here, [it was] based on her menstrual cycle."

Peterson said Kathleen's best friend was upset and wanted to check on Kathleen that night so Drew said "we" called the locksmith ILL MATT LAUER: Another reason there's so much attention being paid to you, Mr. Peterson, is because of the circumstances surrounding the death of your third wife, Kathy Savio. She drowned in her bathtub, according to the report at the time, an accidental drowning back in 2004. However, at the time there was no water in the bathtub. Her hair was matted with blood and apparently there was a one-inch gash on the back of her head. Now state officials are saying that it looks like an accident staged to cover a murder. What was your impression at the time she died? Did you think it was an accident? - DREW PETERSON: "I was one of the first people there. And I was actually the watch commander of our town at the time that it happened. And I went ahead and met with her best friend because I haven't seen her for a couple of days, which was very unlike her, to not be seen or heard from. So I was planning the next day to go into her home, you know, with her neighbor, and see if she was OK, but her neighbor was upset and her best friend was upset, same person. And she wanted to go in that night. So we called the locksmith, went into the house. I didn't go in the house. I waited outside. Her friend..."

"Can you look me straight in the eye and tell me that you had nothing to do with the death of your third wife Kathy or the disappearance of your fourth wife Stacy?"
ILL MATT LAUER: Why didn't you go in the house?
Mr. PETERSON: Kathy was always accusing me of things like she didn't want me in the house ever because she was afraid I was going to steal something.
LAUER: But you're the police officer...
Mr. PETERSON: Right.
LAUER: ...the watch commander.
Mr. PETERSON: Right, exactly.
LAUER: And it's your job to investigate crimes if they've committed.
Mr. PETERSON: That was Kathy. That was Kathy.

Mr. PETERSON: I felt the p--I didn't know if she was dead or live, so I felt her pulse and, you know, being a policeman, I basically didn't want to touch anything or disturb anything.

"Comment by Marcy, November 14th, 2007 at 3:15 pm, "Is Stacy’s hair still a blonde color? I swear I saw a young woman down here in the 309 area code. [309 is Peoria, Illinois] She was at a local grocery store. She hauntingly looked like Stacy. Her hair was shoulder length. But it was completely medium dark brown. She was wearing a black coat. And all she did was stand there and stare at me. I did not do anything. I looked at her though. I think that she is very much alive!!!Look if I went to the police they would not believe me anyway!!! This happened on Monday night [Monday was November 12th].You should check with her psychiatrist. I am sure that she has been in contact with her Dr. I feel once they get the results from the second autopsy on his third wife and they find out she was murdered than Stacy will come out of hiding."

"Peterson told her he could kill her and make it look like an accident"
IL "For the last two weeks, Vicki Connolly has watched in disbelief and with conflicting emotions as controversy swirls around her ex-husband, Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson." - "But in the first interview granted by one of his ex-wives since Stacy's disappearance, Connolly, 48, said Thursday that during their marriage an increasingly controlling Peterson told her he could kill her and make it look like an accident. While she couldn't believe he would ever do it, something prompted her to confide in Bolingbrook police officers who she considered friends. "So they would know he said these things to me," she said. She said Peterson would hit her but not hard enough to go to the hospital, and not often enough for her to expect it. It made it worse, she said, that she never knew it was coming. He discussed his surprise when she started dating Drew Peterson, a man 30 years her senior, how Peterson proposed to Stacy two years before they married, and how Chira's experiences with Stacy don't jibe with Drew Peterson's statements on the "Today" show." - "A high school psychology teacher paired Chira with Stacy for a class assignment that involved her walking him around the school blindfolded. He bumped into a railing on a second-floor balcony. She grabbed his arm, nervous he would fall. "She was about to cry," said Chira, now 26 and the manager of a Meijer meat department. "She was so heartfelt with everything she does. She was just really concerned." The chance encounter spurred a three-year romance that included two proms, dinners out and the first serious romantic relationship for both." - "Chira said he saw Stacy frequently shopping at Meijer.
